Solution:
To address the challenges faced by the light industrial manufacturer in Hunan, such as high peak electricity prices and difficulties in controlling electricity costs, we customized a user-side energy storage solution. Based on the customer’s electricity load and power supply characteristics, an energy storage system consisting of five battery cabinets was installed. Utilizing limited space within the factory, the system was constructed and connected to grid without disrupting the normal production. Designed for two daily charge and discharge cycles, the system can reduce about peak load by 1 million kWh of electricity annually. The customer directly saves electricity costs during peak hours while enhancing their energy autonomy and power supply reliability. It serves as a standard example of cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the industrial sector.
